Last night, Daddy felt his little soccer player kick five times in a row! Tim has been so excited because I have been feeling him for quite sometime and Tim gets frustrated because he has not been able to feel him. Well, not any more! Baby Boy was in full swing last night and kicked (or elbowed, hit, or something) several times. I have been feeling him move a lot more lately and they told us during both of the ultrasounds that he is VERY active. So..... I am sure we will feel him MANY more times.
(Mom and Laura - I know you both are jealous and hopefully you will get a chance to have him kick you very soon too!)

OK... here is our little boy!
Tim got the scanner working, so here is our baby! The first picture is a profile shot of the baby from the ultrasound on Wednesday.

We had to go back today for a follow-up ultrasound. They found last week that we have a two-vessel cord. Which means there is only one vein and one artery, as opposed to one vein and two arteries. Typically this can lead to a smaller birth weight baby, but so far our baby looks good. Dr. White referred us to a maternal-fetal specialist, just so they could take a look. Today the specialist told us the same thing that Dr. White said. All of the baby's organs look super healthy and he is growing at a normal weight. He had gained an ounce since last Wednesday! A two-vessel cord is not that uncommon, but they do like to keep an eye on him. So far, so good. We will have another ultrasound in December just to verify, but at this time there seems to be no reason to worry! Keep us all in your prayers!
The second picture is from the ultrasound today. The specialist has a high resolution ultrasound that they can kick over to 3D. Dr. White doesn't like to do 3D so early because babies don't have enough fat and sometimes they can look strange. This picture is of the baby's face. He is looking into the placenta. (that is what that big finger-like thing is) You can see that he has his hand on his face!!!!! HOW SWEET!!!!!
Our Weekend!!!
We had an eventful weekend. Baby attended his first wedding and took his first trip to Brown County!!!
The weekend started with all of the grandparents coming over to watch the ultrasound video. It was fun to explain everything to the grandparents-to-be! After the video, the grandma's and I looked at baby bedding, furniture, etc. I LOVE planning for the baby. It is amazing how many different things they have for babies! I must admit, sometimes it is a little overwhelming!!!

Saturday night Tim and I went to my cousin Derrick's wedding. It was a beautiful fall wedding and we had a great time. Baby and Mommy even danced. Daddy doesn't like to fast dance with us, but the three of us did slow dance!!! Baby probably wondered what in the world I was doing as I did the electric slide and had fun dancing! Everyone got a kick out of me dancing. Hey... I have to teach baby boy how to dance, since Daddy is not a big fan! We didn't leave until the last song was over. It was a late night for baby!

Sunday we went to Brown County. Actually, we started off going to the outlet mall in Edinburgh and of course, baby got lots of new things. I love Baby Gap - especially for boys! He also got his first tie! It is ADORABLE! He is going to be one handsome little fella!
We also went to Brown County park. It is not quite peak season, but it is still so gorgeous! Of course Tim took the camera, so we have pictures. After we spent some time in the park, we went to downtown Nashville, IN and walked around. We left around 6:00 and finished off the weekend stopping in Greenwood for some Krispy Kreme donuts!!! YUM YUM!

Baby Boy is 20 weeks!!!
It has been an exciting couple of days for all of us. Today, baby boy is 2o weeks and he is starting to get a whole lot of stuff. From clothes to toys, he is going to be one spoiled little boy.

When we arrived home from yesterday's adventures, somebody had decorated our front porch! Of course, that someone was Laura! We were so surprised to come home to lots of balloons and a big "it's a boy" banner! Check out the picture. Laura is SO excited that we are having a little boy! She has already purchased lots of BSU things for the baby and last night she brought over baby's first BSU sweatshirt, pants and the cutest BSU baby blanket. Tim and I enjoy Laura and Hannah SO much and we are so glad that they are going to be part of the baby's life!
Here's a few pictures from yesterday at Clarion North, when we found out that we were going to have a son....

We are having some difficulty getting the scanner to work. As soon as we can get it, we will post the ultrasound pictures. Hopefully Tim can work on it this weekend and we will get them posted!!! I will go ahead and tell you that our baby boy is precious and is already gorgeous!!!!

IT'S A.....................
BOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Daddy said it was going to be an upset... and it was! He said that because EVERYONE told us it was a girl and obviously the votes on the blog favored a girl 66% to 33%! (except now that everyone knows - they are changing their votes... shame on you people) The baby definitely listened to Daddy. Daddy told him on Monday that he needed to show us his "goods" on Wednesday so we could see if he was a boy or a girl. Let me tell you..... he definitely showed us. There is no doubt that this VERY active little thing is a boy! Dr. White says he is super healthy, as am I. So far I have gained a total of 6 pounds. Which isn't a lot, but doctor said is perfect. It is ALL in my belly!!! The baby weighs 13 oz and has a heart rate of 137! Mommy, Daddy, both grandmas and grandpas went shopping and to The Cheesecake Factory to celebrate. Boy did we shop. Baby boy got lots of new outfits, toys, and blankets today. He is going to be stylin!!!!!! Stay tuned for tomorrow and we will post pictures of the ultrasound and hopefully a video of our little bouncing baby boy!!!!!

Another Exciting BSU Parade!!!
As tradition would have it, Hannah and Laura spent the weekend with us and we attended the Ball State Homecoming parade! As usual, we had a blast. Hannah said it was the best one ever. We had a bonfire in the fire pit on Friday night to kick off our weekend. We went to bed late, got up early, ate donuts and headed to the parade. We got to the parade and met my Mom and Dad and my good friend Amy and her 2 year old son, Aidan. It was Aidan's first BSU parade and he seemed to enjoy it. Tim had the great idea to bring along silly string to squirt some of the floats, as they sometimes squirt us. The people on the floats loved the silly string! As you can see, Laura and Tim did too!!!
After the parade, we all walked around campus, went to the bookstores, and Phoebe (and Aidan) enjoyed Frog Baby. (for those not familiar with BSU, Frog Baby is a famous water fountain on campus) We decided we were all hungry, so we stopped on campus for Chick-Fil-A. We finished the afternoon by returning home for a nap before getting ready and heading to Indianapolis for some shopping!!! Of course, Hannah and Laura picked out things for Baby Stover that we HAD to purchase. We will find out Wednesday what we will need to return, since most of the items were for a baby girl!
It was so nice to see Amy and Aidan. Hopefully next year they will join us again and Tod will be able to join them. Aidan will have a playmate next year because just like Hannah and Laura, Baby Stover will hopefully NEVER miss a BSU Homecoming Parade!

ONE WEEK FROM TODAY..........
Is Baby Stover a boy or a girl??? We find out one week from today and we CAN NOT wait! According to the votes, it looks like most of you think it is a girl. Tim says there will be an upset because he thinks (or maybe just hopes) it is a boy. Actually, neither one of us care. At this point we just want the baby to be as healthy as can be! So.... stay tuned to next week and we will post the ultrasound pictures with the results. (we hope the baby cooperates and lets us know if he/she is a boy or girl)

Baby is 18 weeks!
Today, baby is 18 weeks. The time is FLYING by. As you can see, Mommy is REALLY showing. (a bit too much I think) I have been feeling much much better this week.
It has truly been a crazy week. I was summoned for jury duty on Tuesday. I was the 8th person selected, so needless to say, I would have been in. I explained to them that I was expecting and at times I don't feel the greatest (and obviously I have to go to the bathroom about every 30 minutes). With hesitation, they dismissed me. It was a good thing because after reading the paper the next day we found out it is going to be a long trial!!!! YUCK!!!
In less than 2 weeks we find out if we are having a precious baby boy or girl. We CAN NOT wait!!!! If you have not yet voted, time is running out, so do it quickly!!!!!
