AND THE PICTURE THAT EXPLAINS THE TRUE LIAM...

Liam is 2 months old!

Wow, it is so hard to believe that our precious little Liam is already 2 months old! He had to visit Dr. Byrn today for his two month check-up and the dreaded "shots"! I have been stressing about his vaccinations for quite some time now. I didn't want to put the poor little man through all of it. You might think since I sell vaccines that it might make it easier, but I think it is the opposite! Since I needed moral support and Daddy had to work, Grammy got the pleasure of going. Actually, I did better than she did! I don't think I made Dr. Byrn very happy today. I am already "one of those mothers". We had decided to spread his shots out, so I could tell if he had a reaction, which one it was coming from. I have also heard many times that giving numerous vaccines at the same time increases the risk of autism. I DO NOT believe that vaccines cause autism, but I do however want to take every precaution necessary! I think Dr. Byrn felt like I was questioning him, but oh well - I am his mother! So, needless to say, we are going back next week for another dreaded shot!

Liam is doing very well. He is a BIG boy. He weighed 12 lbs. 3 oz. at the doctor today and was 22 3/4". This is great, considering he was only 8 lbs. at his last visit one month ago. All he does is EAT EAT EAT!!! He eats every two to three hours and most of the time 6 oz. at a time (yes - that is at night too). Dr. Byrn did say we could try cereal, if absolutely necessary. Obviously his food is not sticking with him. Dr. Byrn also said it was okay to give him a little nursery water or 1 teaspoon of adult prune juice in his breast milk or formula for his constipation. Poor fella! We did get a great report from Dr. Byrn. He said Liam is in picture perfect health!

This afternoon and evening have been a little rough. He has had a temperature of around 100 degrees. He has slept most of the evening. I am not sure if that is due to the Tylenol or his shots. I am hoping that tomorrow is a MUCH better day.

Many Firsts....

As many of you know, we have not taken Liam out very much. We have been concerned with RSV, flu, and GERMS, in general. Since, he is over 6 weeks old, we have been venturing out a little more. Here are some pics from our adventures...

First time shopping... (this was at Von Maur)

First time eating out as a family (Mommy, Daddy, and Liam). We decided on the Olive Garden, simply because it wasn't busy and we could get a booth in the back!

First time at The Cheesecake Factory....

First time at Circle Centre..
I LOVE bath time! It may not look like it, but he LOVES it! He concentrates SO much on it and is in heaven! We have it set up where the room is really warm and he always has to hold a warm wash cloth! We call it the Stover Spa!

At Daddy's BIG Birthday party...

Misc. pics...

Guess who I would vote for, if I could vote....
