Liam's new treats!
Well, after no apparent reaction to his three shots, you know the ones that we spaced out, Liam got to try a few new things today! After going to the doctor for the second time last week, one for shots and one to check his circumcision, the other Dr. Byrn told us to try 1 oz. of apple/prune juice for his constipation. Even though I don't like to give him sugar at such a young age, we tried it. It still hasn't worked its magic, but maybe soon. He also got to try CEREAL... Yes, I FINALLY gave in and gave him 1 tablespoon of cereal. I really don't think this was enough to make a difference, but we tried. With both of these things, he apparently thought they tasted just like anything else because he didn't gag or make a horrible face! He gagged horribly the other day when we gave him a little water, after Dr. Byrn told us it was okay. We tried the cereal during the day, so I don't really think it worked. I wanted to make sure he was okay while I was awake with him. We are going to try again in the morning and if it goes well again, we will try it tomorrow night!!! He is starting to do a little better at night. Sunday night he only got up at 3:30 and 7:30. I could NOT believe it! Most nights he takes a bedtime bottle at 10:30, eats again around midnight, again at 2:30, again at 4:30, 5:30, and 6:30!!! He LOVES to eat. He is knocking on the door of 14 lbs! He now weighs 13 lbs. 10 oz.! On April 11th, he weighed 10 lbs. 6 oz. - that means he has gained 3 1/2 lbs. since then! WOW!!! I must say, I have always loved fat babies and now I have one!!!A few new pics of Liam....... (notice he has outgrown the sink and is now in his big boy bathtub)

Wow! I can't believe how big he has gotten in just 2 weeks. I think his cheeks have to weigh 2 lbs each. Hannah will be mad when she see's this. She said she can't go to long without seeing him because she says he changes too quickly. I must say he has changed quite a lot in the last 2 weeks. I really need to come squezze those cheeks. Oh my little Liam has grow-up so MUCH!!!!! HE has lost his baby look, outgrown the sink,getting fatter by the minute!!!!! I HAVE to come and see him!!!

Liam makes everyday special that we spend with him and he does light up our lives.
There is not way to explain the LOVE that we have for our grandson.

I have to say, baby prunes and prune juice are our very good friends!!! AP, of course, is very limited on his sugar intake, and especially juice. But the prunes? The little man's best friend!
My goddaughter required apple juice daily, just to keep it all easy....
I love the pics of him w/ his Band-Aids! I have similar pics after a couple rounds of our vaccinations.... They're HORRIBLE for mommy to endure. Not as bad for the babe! I'm just happy we're through witht hem until kindergarten, unless we want to do flu shots. What are your thoughts on those?
