Crazy about Elmo...

As you can see, our little man is CRAZY about Elmo! The sad thing is this is not all of his Elmo stuff, just some of it. Do you think he is spoiled? We decided to change the blog background because he is Elmo obsessed. We hope you like it because Liam sure does!

He still loves bathtime!

He really has a ton of bath towels, we just really like this one in pictures.....

We can't believe our little man is already four months old! He is already 17 lbs. and as you can see is a chunky monkey! He REALLY likes to eat and eats about every hour and a half to two hours! He talks A LOT and has already learned how to scream. He has found his feet and we have heard that he is really young to have found them and grab them already. He LOVES LOVES LOVES Elmo! Grammie brought him an Elmo balloon one day and he cracks up at it. We bought him several other Elmo toys to see if he liked them as much or if it was just the balloon. It is Elmo. When we were at Babies R Us one day I tried to trick him with something that looked like Elmo. It had a big red face and white eyes on top of its head. Liam looked at it, but no grin. I showed him Elmo.... he grinned from ear to ear! It is hilarious. Needless to say, Elmo goes with us when we need him to smile for pictures, etc.! He is also starting to cackle! Sometimes we are SO funny and he will just cackle until he can't get his breath!!!!!! He is such a happy little man!!!

Liam's 1st trip to the zoo....

Mommy, Daddy, and Liam went to the Indianapolis Zoo on Monday. We purchased a membership, so we only visited a few exhibits this time. Mommy is a freak about getting Liam in the sun. Especially since babies can't wear sunscreen until they are 6 months old. So, we went to the Oceans exhibit and the Butterfly exhibit. (and of course the gift shop) Liam's VERY favorite exhibit was the hammerhead sharks. He loved them! He really watched them and talked to them. So, when we went to the gift shop he got a shark book, a stuffed shark, and a Zoo hat! We thought he would like the penguins, but they were not very active, so he didn't pay too much attention to them.

(Don't worry Hannah, we didn't see much of the zoo. You will get to go with us when we see ALL of the zoo!)

We can't wait to go back.................

Daddy had a great 1st Father's Day. We started the day going to church at Old Town Hill. Liam was a little stinker during church and Mommy and Liam spent most of the service in the foyer. He decided he was sleepy, but didn't want to go to sleep. After church, we went to GG's and Gpa's for a cookout. We had a lot of fun because everyone was there to celebrate! GG, Gpa, Grammie, Grandpa, Grandmama, Grandpapa, Aunt Sharon, and Hannah. (ok, so we were missing Uncle Tim and Laura) We had a great time. The ladies and Liam stayed inside, while Hannah and the guys played baseball and croquet. After leaving GG and Gpa's, we went to Grandmama and Grandpapa's, before heading to Grammie and Grandpa's house. We had a busy day, but I think Daddy enjoyed his very special day!

Tim is SUCH an amazing Daddy to Liam. Liam is so lucky to have him as a Daddy and I am so blessed to have him as a husband. He helps out a lot with Liam and Liam loves him so much! I made Tim wait a LONG time for Liam and seeing him with Liam makes me wonder why we didn't have him years ago. However, I feel we are MUCH better parents now, than we would have been years ago.

I also have an amazing Dad and father-in-law. My Dad is always there when I need him and he is a wonderful Grandpa to Liam. I can't believe how much he is in love with Liam! I feel so blessed to be the daughter of an amazing man. I love you Dad - I hope you had a great Father's Day!
