Thursday, August 23rd, Baby turned 12 weeks. The Sunday prior, I started having some problems. I started bleeding. VERY SCARY! I immediately called my physicians emergency hot line and talked to the doctor on-call. She told me it could be due to my progesterone supplements, or it could be other things. She scheduled me for an ultrasound for Monday morning. Needless to say, none of us slept Sunday night. I think I may have slept for 45 minutes. I was so freaked out that I needed Mom to go along with Tim and I. We had the ultrasound and everything is fine. The bleeding is called implantation bleeding and is fairly common. She showed us on the ultrasound where it is coming from and it is no where near the baby. She said it is not hurting the baby in any way. Also, because baby is now 12 weeks, she said I could stop the progesterone. Hallelujah! Baby's heartbeat ranged from 168-171, which they said is perfect. Some people say that means it is a girl, but still too early to tell. The tech tried to tell, but couldn't. Baby seems to be perfect and is quite the comedian. I think we are going to have a very active baby on our hands. The baby was kicking, turning, spinning, and NEVER stood still. That is until the tech decided to get some pictures for us to take home. At that point, Baby decided to face the camera. We all cracked up. So, all of the four pictures she gave us, look the same. Baby is facing us and waving. They gave us a video and baby was blowing kisses and waving. It is hilarious!!! I guess Baby knows that Daddy is a picture fanatic and will constantly be taking pictures!
